Young School Gardeners Competition 2025

How time flies! You are invited to enter The Young School Gardeners competition. It is open to all schools in Barnet and aims to support and encourage gardening, horticulture and environmental sustainability.

The competition is sponsored by Finchley Nurseries and independent judges will visit schools to meet the children and find out what they have been doing. The visits will take place during the last week of June and the first week of July 2025.

There will be an awards presentation at Sunnyfields School in the Autumn Term 2025 (Date TBC) and all schools that have taken part are welcome to attend. Schools will be invited to bring their young gardeners and set up a display to celebrate what they have been doing.
