Fixation Academy of Performing Arts is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated students who are eager to gain valuable experience working with children during the upcoming February half term. We would be grateful if you could kindly share this exciting opportunity with your students.

Our holiday camps offer a fun and dynamic environment where students will have the chance to support and engage children across a variety of activities, including multi sports, our EYFS camp, and performing arts sessions featuring themed days and camp shows. This opportunity is ideal for those studying education, theatre, child development, sports coaching, or related fields.

Camp Details:

Dates: 16th – 20th February 2026

Locations: Barnet and Finchley

Camp Times: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Students will also be able to obtain their DBS check and complete safeguarding training through us as part of the onboarding process.

I'm writing to let you know about a free online support opportunity for parents and carers that we run through the Autism Family Support Service.

The next drop-in takes place in December. Normally, we run the 'You Are Not Alone' drop-in on the 1st Tuesday of the month but in December we are doing something special.

Instead of 1 drop-in session we are going to run 5 drop-in sessions from Monday 1st December - Friday 5th December from 7pm - 8.30pm.

As well as having the opportunity to ask general questions, every drop-in has a theme. Here's the list:

Monday: Autism journey rant - share anything that you are frustrated about and more..

Tuesday: Education - School - EOTAS - Home education and more..

Wednesday - Understanding autism and PDA and more..

Thursday - Emotional regulation -

Friday - Social development - so much more is possible

You Are Not Alone - Free Online Parent Drop-In

Parenting an autistic child can feel amazing, confusing, and overwhelming, sometimes all in the same day. That's why we host our no-cost monthly online drop-in sessions for parents and carers.

Who runs the sessions?

I'm Erik Wagter, co-founder of Autism Family Support Service, currently also working as a Social Worker/Manager for Early Help. Alongside being a social worker, trainer and Solution Focused family coach, I also bring over two decades of personal lived family experience of autism. From time to time I will be joined by my wife Sally Wagter, who is a teacher, author and trainer.

These sessions are a chance for parents to talk openly, learn, and connect. They don't have to do this on their own.

My name is Ellie, and I am a member of the Turtle Key Arts Team. Turtle Key Arts produces and devices original ground-breaking art to entertain and inspire. We believe that access to the arts helps to improve quality of life by bringing people together, offering creative opportunities, social interaction, confidence and self-esteem.

I am getting in contact to share our upcoming Turtle Opera workshop project with you. The project will run at the V&A Museum, South Kensington from Tuesday 17th – Friday 20th February 2026, 11am – 3:30pm.

The four days of workshops will involve participants creating their own stories and music for an informal performance, with a professional composer and director. A specialist team from Turtle Key Arts and the V&A will support the group, to help enable fun and friendships.
