University Applications Reach Record High for Year 13!

We are delighted to announce that the Year 13 university application process is off to an incredibly strong start, with a record number of students submitting their final applications by the October 15th deadline.

We have a total of 18 applicants, which represents the highest number of early applications we have seen in recent years. This impressive figure means that 25% of our Year 13 cohort is actively pursuing places at top institutions. Among these applicants, we have 14 students applying to Oxford or Cambridge (Oxbridge), 2 students applying for Medicine, and 2 students applying for Dentistry.

The breadth of subjects students are applying for this year is really pleasing. While we have the usual strong interest in STEM fields, including Maths, Physics, Engineering, and Computer Science, we are also seeing a fantastic range of applications in other areas. It's wonderful to see students pursuing their passions across the full spectrum of academic disciplines, including Law, History, Economics, and English. This strong showing reflects the talent and diverse interests within our student body. We wish all our applicants the very best of luck as they move forward in the selection process!
