Dear families,

We are at the end of a busy half term at CCF and the next half term will be just as action-packed. Over the past few weeks, pupils in examination year groups have been working on their GCSE and A Levels and have been impressive in terms of their behaviour during examinations and their attitudes to learning during masterclasses. I have no doubt that this impressive behaviour will continue throughout the examination period. 

At CCF we have high aspirations for all of our pupils and we take pride in the high standards we set, both in their learning and in the way they present themselves. Our uniform plays a vital role in our identity and sense of belonging. Whilst the vast majority of our pupils wear their uniform correctly, we have recently seen a number of pupils not aligning with our policy, including wearing trainers, wearing make up or having the wrong colour/style of trousers, all of which detract from the smart appearance we expect. We are grateful for the support we receive for families in maintaining our standards and I would ask parents/carers to use the opportunity of the half-term break to check that your child has the uniform as outlined in our policy (click here).

Next half term includes a range of celebratory events, including Arts Awards Evening on 1 July, the Summer Dance Show on 3 July and our school production of Oliver! on 9 July; please check the CCF calendar (click here) for the full details of these exciting events.

Finally, I would like to wish you all a lovely half-term break and we look forward to welcoming pupils back on Monday 1 June 2026.
