The Dennis and Diane Padrnos Family Endowment was established on December 12, 2012. The endowment was created in memory of Dennis by his wife Diane and their children. Diane wanted a way to locally support the one thing that mattered the most to Dennis, his faith. Because of their generous nature, It is only fitting that the endowment will also help those in most need.
The endowment was established to help fund the Tuition Assistance program at John Paul II School. This program allows families with temporary financial hardships and those who may not have otherwise been able to afford to attend John Paul II School, pay their tuition. Dennis and Diane's three children (Mike, Beth and Lara) all went through the Catholic school system in Mitchell. That factor along with the fact that Diane's lifelong profession as a teacher, led them to the decision where to direct the funds. Their deep faith and love for education made contributing to John Paul II School an easy decision. Their decision will not only be a blessing for the families at John Paul II School, but will also create a lasting legacy for their lives. Thank you for sharing your legacy of faith!

An endowment fund is a perpetual fund, created by charitable donations in the form of cash, stocks, mutual funds, real property, or other personal property given to the Foundation. The practice of investing the principal, rather than spending it, creates a perpetual fund. Most of an endowment’s annual earnings are distributed to the designated benefactors, in this case, John Paul II School. Endowments provide a “forever-giving” funding source for Catholic programs and activities. A gift in your will could establish an endowment and a lasting legacy for you, your family, and benefactor.
