Spelling

Our spelling curriculum consists of 4 different units. The units are designed around the Science of Reading. Each unit teaches specific letter/sound patterns to help students better understand the link between reading(decoding) and writing and to further help students apply spelling concepts within their writing.

I will send new spelling lists home each Friday so students have will have the opportunity to begin studying over the weekend if they wish. Spelling assessments will be given each Friday unless otherwise noted in the weekly newsletter.
