Frequently Asked Questions
I'm seriously thinking about vocational Christian work, but how can I be sure of God's will?
This is probably the most common question believers ask. Any sincere, Spirit-filled Christian who wants to know the will of God concerning his life can know it, but this is typically a journey and a process. Being "called" primarily means being obedient to the on-going direction of the Lord's leading in your life. As you submit your life daily to God and as you spend time in His word, He will guide your thoughts and decisions in choosing how and where you can serve Him. We would be available to journey with you as you seek God's will.
What does the support raising process look like?
Support raising is one of the most exciting and exhilarating experience a full-time staff can have. All of our full-time staff members have tthe privelege and the responsibility to raise their financial support. We will coach you on how to develop a team of ministry partners whom God has chosen to be part of your ministry through prayer and finances. We call this process Discipleship Ministry Partner Development (DMPD). During the DMPD, you will spend most of the time calling and visiting people in their homes or workplace. You will present to them your ministry and invite them to join you as your partner in winning people to Christ, building them up in their faith and send them to share the gospel to the lost.
My parents are hesitant about me joining staff. How should I respond to them?
Parents are often not familiar with organizations like CCC. Since they want what's best for you, they will be concerned about things like a decent income, good benefits and an opportunity to use your skills and education. It would help if you verbalize to them what you think they might be feeling (anxiety, regret, etc) in a very compassionate and understanding way. They will feel understood and in turn may try to understand your point of view. You may tell them that in the last 51 years God has provided the needs of CCC missionaries including housing, medical needs, as well as children's education
If for some reasons, I cannot join as a full-time staff, how else can I be involved with Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC)?
Volunteers are needed in strategic project and positions. You may volunteer in the campus, workplace, church, digital or operations. Do you have a special skill or work experience that you would like to impart/utilize for the glory of God? Some opportunities in operations include finances, facility management, information technology, creative media and clerical tasks. If you cannot see your area of experience or expertise in this list, contact us-We would like to find you niche within CCC.
