“CONCIENCIA” 2025
CONVOCATORIA
We are pleased to announce the third edition of “Awareness.” This competition is aimed at children and youth from preschool to high school and seeks to encourage reflection and action on crucial issues focused on caring for our “common home,” inspired this school year by Pope Francis's encyclical “Laudato Si.” Awareness not only aims to raise awareness but also to highlight the importance of science and creativity in addressing these challenges, such as global warming. We invite all institutions to take part in this important mission and motivate their students to be part of the change and showcase their talent. Through this competition, science and creativity can come together to tackle environmental challenges.
Take part and use your scientific ingenuity to build a more sustainable future!
Category: MIDDLE SCHOOL. Languages.
Contest: Water Scarcity: A Call to Care for Creation.
Format: Hybrid
Objective:
To foster students' awareness of environmental issues by exploring the topic of water scarcity in relation to Pope Francis' encyclical "Laudato Sí." Through this activity, students will develop critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills by researching, creating, and presenting a podcast. They will learn to connect local environmental challenges with social responsibility and the values of stewardship and solidarity.
This objective aligns the activity with educational and ethical goals, helping students understand both the practical and moral implications of environmental care.

Middle school students, i.e. (1st, 2nd and 3rd). Direct creators of the project.
Teachers responsible for the project. Exclusive participation as promoters, guides and leaders of the development of the project.
Implementation and requirements:

- Call to action:
Inspire listeners with two solutions and practical actions they can take to protect and conserve water.
