My name is Coach Howerton and this is my 4th year of teaching.  I graduated from the University of North Georgia.  My first two years were spent at South Columbia Elementary.  I am married to my wife, Haley, who teaches at Greenbrier Middle School.  I have two kids, Phil (8) and Kirby (4).  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, watching UGA football, and Braves baseball.
