PRESENT PERFECT : WHAT DOES THIS TENSE MEAN? It is used to :
- express actions that have happened recently and still hold true in the present.
- the helping verb HABER (to have)has to be used : he /has/ha/hemos/han
- A past participle must be used : verbs will end in -ado and -ido
- There are many irregular past participles: escrito / puesto/ roto/ido/sido/vuelto/devuelto/hecho/muerto

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE :
- to express an act that is occuring at the momnet
- the verb estar is to be used : estoy/estás/está, estamos, están
- the sencond verb that follows will end in - iendo or ando or yendo.
