digo la verdad--- I tell the truth

No digo una mentira- I dont tell a lie.

The <<digo>> comes from the verb Decir. The YO form is <<digo>>.

We are also studying some more funky verbs. By this I mean, they are NOT just regular -ar -er -ir verbs.. A little more difficult to remember but it's a lot of fun to be able to use them in conversation:

  • entender
  • preferir
  • empezar
  • pensar
  • querer
  • tener
  • venir
  • cerrar
  • perder-- to lose : ( No me gusta perder, pero me gusta ganar-to win).
