Yearbook Application Information for 2026-2027
Lakeside’s Journalism class produces the Panthera yearbook and develops journalistic stories for social media. We are looking for dedicated, creative, organized, enthusiastic individuals who are willing to work as part of a team. Journalism staff members must be able to work with others, must be reliable, must meet deadlines, and must put in extra work sessions outside of the regular school day.
NOTE: Yearbook staff is currently open to rising juniors and seniors only.
Application Process: if you believe you have the qualities described above, please complete the application process listed below. You can find this information on the yearbook website as well.
Staff Application: Complete the application online- https://bit.ly/lhsyearbookapp26. You will include the following in the application.
Typed essay (minimum of three paragraphs) explaining why you want to be a part of the journalism program and what qualities you have that would make you a great addition to our staff.
3 sample photographs with extended captions (one must be a student life photograph). Use Google Docs or Slides to turn in the pictures with captions.
Teacher Recommendations: Send the link to the faculty recommendation form to TWO teachers. One of the teachers MUST be one of your former English teachers. Link to send to teachers- https://bit.ly/lhsyrbkrec.
If you are selected for next year’s staff, you will be notified via the email you provide once all applications have been reviewed.
All applications are due by March 31, 2026.
