6th Grade Social Studies Corner

Welcome to 6th Grade social studies. Sixth grade is the first year of a two year World Area Studies course. Sixth graders study Latin America, Canada, Europe, and Australia. The goal of this course is to acquaint middle school students with the world in which they live.

It truly is an honor and privilege to welcome you to the sixth grade at Greenbrier Middle School. I believe that a successful learning experience is built on a cooperative effort between the student, the family, and teacher. This year will be a dynamic and fun-filled one for all the students. My goal is to help students discover the potential that lies within them resulting in students feeling successful.

I am looking forward to a happy and productive school year.

I will continue to strive to list the most pertinent information here that will help with the overall academic success of all of my students. I will be updating this website, so please check back. Also, your student should be checking Google Classroom frequently and hopefully sharing what they are doing with you.
