About me

My name is Minimarie Doe Andrews. I am excited to be your 1st grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. I am a native of Augusta, Georgia, and I reside with my family here in the C.S.R.A. This will be my 6th  year teaching in public education. I have over two decades in experience in teaching youth and students various capacities in fine arts, enrichment, and intervention services.  I taught middle, high school, and elementary school students. I must say that I have always enjoyed working teaching my 1st grade students! I am a proud mom of four kiddos, Pierce, Paige, Paris, and Payton.

Education

It has been a joy to work with youth and students on various grade levels and various capacities in the C.S.R.A. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Mass. Communication at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. I received my Masters in Elementary Education ( M.Ed.) from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.  I also volunteer in supporting various community  and state related projects in Fine Arts, autism awareness, special needs family support, and outreach.
