Welcome to American Literature!  I’m so glad you are here to enjoy the adventure through American Literature with me.  We will explore the written word in a way you’ve never experienced.  You will be introduced to many authors who are well-renowned and whose writing talents are worth imitating, including Anne Bradstreet, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Langston Hughes, and Lorraine Hansberry to just name a few. Maybe you have heard of these celebrated writers before now, or maybe you are about to experience them for the first time.  Either way, you are in for a treat!   And, of course we will also hone our writing, vocabulary, and grammar skills all along the way.  Get ready for an incredible year!
