Hello, Parents and Students!

My name is Mrs. Elyse Trice & I am your teacher this year.  Thank you for entrusting and sharing your child with me. 

Welcome to Second Grade!

Start your engines! We’re kicking off a fantastic year in second grade! I’m Mrs. Trice, and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher on this exciting journey. In our classroom, we believe learning should be fun, challenging, and full of momentum. That’s why our theme this year is:

   “Racing Toward Success with Mrs. Trice!”

Your child will be diving into new adventures in:
- 📚 Reading – study decoding patterns, building fluency & comprehension
- ✏️ Writing – learning to express ideas clearly and creatively
- ➗ Math – mastering addition, subtraction and problem-solving
- 🌍 Science & Social Studies – exploring  the past & present  world around us 
- ❤️ Social Skills – building respect, responsibility, and readiness to learn

🏁 Our Mission:
Every student is in the driver’s seat of their learning, and I’ll be their coach, cheerleader, and guide as they race toward success!
