🚦🏁 Welcome to Second Grade! 🏁🚦

I am Mrs. Elyse Trice formally Mrs. Elyse Brown

 I am so excited about this year in the Second Grade! 

I have been teaching for 23 years. I have taught in Maryland, Washington state, Japan, and Georgia. This year will be my 13th year teaching public school in GA and my 11th year teaching at NHE. I am so proud to continue working with our Second Grade Bullpups! I have a Master's degree in Curriculum Instruction from Augusta University and Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University in Maryland. I am originally from New Jersey and am a born and raised NY JETS fan!

I have four children: Jeremiah (23), Maya (22), Isabella (18) & Isaiah (16) and 3 dogs Max (8), Shuri (7) & Daisy Mae (12). My daughter Maya and son-in-law Jarod are expecting their first child any day now. They all keep my husband William  & me entertained, busy, and we are so proud of them all! I love reading, watching tv/movies/sports and spending time with my family. 

I have certainly been looking forward to this school year! Let’s work as a team to ensure that your child becomes an independent lifelong learner. I am here to answer questions and to support you every step of the way.
