All about ME

🚦🏁 Welcome to Fifth Grade! 🏁🚦

I am Mrs. Elyse Trice formally Mrs. Elyse Brown

 I am so excited about this year in the Fifth Grade! 

I have been teaching for 24 years. I have taught in Maryland, Washington state, Japan, and Georgia. This year will be my 14th year teaching public school in GA and my 12th year teaching at NHE. I am so proud to continue working with our Bullpups! I have a Master's degree in Curriculum Instruction from Augusta University and Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University in Maryland. I am currently working on my Specialist from AU, as well. I am originally from New Jersey and am a born and raised NY JETS fan!

I have four children: Jeremiah (24), Maya (23), Isabella (19) & Isaiah (17) and 3 dogs Max (9), Shuri (8) & Daisy Mae (13). My daughter Maya and son-in-law Jarod welcomed my grandson Adrian in August 2025.  They all keep my husband William  & me entertained and busy. We are so proud of them all! I love reading, watching tv/movies/sports and spending time with my family. 

I have certainly been looking forward to this school year! Let’s work as a team to ensure that your child becomes a lifelong learner and prepared for their next adventure. I am here to answer questions and to support you every step of the way.
