My name is Jennifer Williams and I am so excited to start my seventeenth year of teaching and my fourth year at Martinez Elementary! Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, photography, and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am married to Chris Williams, and we have two wonderful children.... Samantha (age 11 in 6th grade) and Bradley (age 19 and a sophomore in college).
I am a 1991 graduate of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet High School, where I studied voice and violin.
In May of 2002, I graduated from Augusta State University with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I also hold my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University.
Hi! My name is Cara Hendrickson. I am excited to be teaching all things second grade! This is my 12th year teaching and my second year teaching second grade at Martinez Elementary. I have had experience teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades. This is not the first time I set foot into the MES halls. I am one of the few teachers here who also attended MES as a student. In fact, I have been blessed to be able to still work with my kindergarten teacher!
I graduated Evan High School in 1999 and attended Georgia Southern University. In 2004, I graduated with a degree in Family and Child Development and spent a few years working with Georgia families before deciding to go into teaching. In 2007, I graduated from Augusta State University with a Masters of Art in Teaching. I spent the first seven years of my career teaching in Richmond County. In 2012, I graduated with a Teaching and Learning Specialist.
Last school year, I married Eric Hendrickson and his two children, Mallory and Hayes. Mallory is in 4th grade and Hayes is in kindergarten. They are my three best friends and make my life entertaining and enjoyable.
If I am not at home watching Investigate Discovery or reading a book, you may find me sitting in may parents backyard enjoying the serenity.
Hello! My name is Katy Jones, and I am so excited to begin my third year of teaching here at Martinez Elementary! I am so excited to spend this year this you! When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I come from a family of educators and I truly have a passion for helping students grow as learners! I graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and in July of 2018 with my Masters in Early Childhood Education. Fun Fact: I grew up in the small town of Louisville, Georgia where I attended kindergarten with Ms. DeLoach! I am looking forward to a spectacular year in 2nd Grade!

My husband and I have two beautiful girls (Lexi-13 and Katie-5) and a precious baby boy (Bentley-almost 4 months old). During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, reading, and relaxing. Hello, My name is Cal Reynolds. I am excited to begin the first year of a new adventure with the start of my career in teaching. I have been working as a Server and Cook the past 12 years in local restaurants here in Augusta. I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education this past April from the University of Phoenix. I live in Augusta with my wife and son. In my free time there are many activities I enjoy such as cooking, golfing, watching live music, and most anything sports related. I look forward to working with your children and facing the challenges a new career presents.
Hi! My name is Jessy Estroff and this is my ninth year teaching elementary school. In the past, I have taught fourth grade and K-5 math specials. I love teaching new things to children, both academically and socially. I earned my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and my M.S. in Elementary Education from Georgia State University. I am currently working on my Ed.S. in Early Childhood Education from University of West Georgia. I plan to graduate in December of this year. I live in Augusta with my husband, our dog Annie and our cat Violet.
