My name is Nina Delauney and I am the drama teacher and director at Grovetown High School. Grovetown is a very special place to me- I graduated from here in 2018, my brother graduated in 2022, and my sister graduated in 2026! I am so delighted to be back at my alma mater doing what I love: teaching and directing young actors! During this 2026-2027 school year, I will be entering my 5th year of teaching. I learned from the best: the educators and administration right here at Grovetown High!
I attended Grovetown High in 2014-2018 and was a part of the theatre program (Warrior Theatre Works), acting in shows like Into The Woods and directing shows like Radium Girls. Outside of school, I was a student of Mickey Lubeck's at Musical Theatre Workshops in Martinez, GA. I attended Columbus State University in Columbus, GA, majoring in Theatre Education and obtaining my bachelor's degree in 2022. As a student there, I worked ThesCon, Georgia One-Act Festival, and held an internship at the Springer Opera House. After college, I moved to Jeffersonville, Indiana and taught middle school theatre and directed a total of seven shows in the four years I taught there. I directed shows such as Singin' In The Rain Jr., The Addams Family, and Legally Blonde Jr.
I love teaching and directing, but I also still perform! I was most recently seen as Charlotte / Deb in The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals in Louisville, KY. I am also a military kid, a cat mom, and an avid movie fan.

Me in 2017 on Senior Citizen Day in Mrs. Gordy's class. We took our costumes very seriously.
DROM! Like Prom, but for theatre kids... it is as nerdy as it sounds.
