Guitar picks are a required supply for guitar class.

5 picks are recommended at all times

Using a guitar pick will help students to play with more control and produce better sounds. 

Guitar picks come in different thickness. The preference is up to the player.

• Thin picks: .40 to .60mm 

• Medium picks: .60 to .80mm

• Heavy picks: .8 to 1.2mm

• Extra Heavy picks: 1.2mm and higher

Mr. Boykin uses Jim Dunlop .75mm guitar picks 

Students will need to tune their guitars every day in class. 

Having an electric tuner helps students easily tune their guitars

This tuner clips onto the head of the guitar and detects the vibration of the strings to help students tuner their instrument. 

The tuner is rechargeable via USB charging cable.
