Hi! My name is Sarah Dowdy. I have been teaching at GBE for 10 years. I  have taught 1st grade & 2nd grade. This is my sixth year in 2nd grade. I  was born and raised in Augusta. I went all through the Columbia County school system as a student. I went to Augusta University for my Bachelor's, Master's and Specialist degrees. Go Jags! During football season, it's GO DAWGS! I love to read. I love to spend time with my friends, family, and all of our pets. I have the biggest sweet tooth, dark chocolate or sour anything. My classroom is one of my favorite places to be & I can't wait to share it with your student this year!
