Welcome to second grade! My name is Julie Wilkins, and I'm excited to have your child in my class! I have been married to my wonderful husband, Joe, for 32 years. We have two children, Katie and Joseph, and one grandchild, who we call Gigi. I love spending time with my family and friends. I am an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan! Go Dawgs! The beach is my happy place, and one of my favorite things to do at the beach is find shark teeth! You'll notice lots of books about the ocean and underwater animals in our classroom. We have a class betta fish named Frank. The 2026-2027 school year will be my 35th year of teaching! I love the primary grades, and I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Second grade is where my heart is! I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, an M.Ed. in Elementary Literacy, and an Ed.S. in Teaching and Learning. My goal is to foster a love of learning in your child. I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the year!
