Art Club starts in the Fall. 

Please sign up prior to the first meeting that you will attend.

Thank you for taking interest in te Art Club!  Mrs. Morris sponsors the Art Club.  In Art Club this year, we want to be able to explore different media that you might not be able to enjoy during regular art class time. 

1.   When is art club?  After school – 1 meeting a month (or so) - All meetings are on TUESDAYS this year.

2.   When should students be picked up?  At 4:00 p.m.

3.   How much does art club cost for the year?  $25.00

• You MUST SIGN UP AND PAY on REVTRAK on the school’s website.

4.  How do students sign up? 

• Parents read the packet

5.   Do I need to bring anything for art club?  

• At our April meeting, we are making tie-dye t-shirts.  Check the calendar for the date. 

• Please bring a 90% to 100% white (or light colored) cotton t-shirt.  

• This does NOT have to be new.  This is a great way to update an old t-shirt.  

6.   If I miss a meeting, what do I do? 

• If you cannot make one of the meetings, you may attend the meeting for a different grade level or attend the next meeting for your grade.

7.  How can I keep in contact with Mrs. Morris about art club?  

• Please sign up for REMIND to get a reminder text messages about art club activities.  You may also message Mrs. Morris on Remind.

Student Expectations

1. Completed consent form on Revtrak

2. Transportation to and from school as determined by the parent/guardian

3. Student and Parents sign up for Remind

4. Behavior in accordance with Columbia Middle School’s expectations at meetings

5. Have a good behavior record in all of your classes

         If you are interested, please plan to meet on the dates for your grade level.  

• We will be meeting in Mrs. Morris’s room (Room 228) right after school.  

• Please have a ride ready to pick you up promptly at 4:00 p.m.  

• Any interested students are welcome to join; however, transportation must be provided by parents and is not the responsibility of the school.   

• If the club needs to be cancelled, there will be prior notice.  This will be sent out on Remind and in the morning / afternoon announcements to students.
