HST - Study Skills/Hall

The purpose of HST is to catch up and/or work ahead on assignments from other classes, study for other classes, and ask questions as you are acclimating from middle to high school rigor and expectations.

The purpose of HST is NOT to socialize and disrupt other students from using their time wisely and the objectives of this class.

If you do not have work in other classes, you should bring in and work on something else that does NOT disturb other students who may have work. Simply playing on your phone is not a productive use of this time: read a book, draw in a notebook, read an article online, etc.

You will be graded daily on this rubric:

1. bringing materials to class (3 points)

2. working quietly (3 points)

3. working diligently/efficiently on assignments (3 points)
