Teacher Bio

Hello!  My name is Angela Haygood and I have been teaching Social Studies for 21 years.  I was born and grew up in Martinez, Georgia, while also attending Columbia County schools. Shortly after graduation, I worked hard to receive my Bachelor, Masters, and Specialist of Education, all from Augusta State University.  I was married in 2000 to my husband Richard, and we have 2 children, Rowan (16) and Emma (21).   In my spare time I love traveling, especially to Disney!  I also love visiting Indian Rocks Beach and going on cruises!  I have 2 rescue dogs named Duke and Poppy,  and a  cat named Tinkerbell.     I hope that you love Harlem Middle School as much as I do!  

A few of my favorite things:

Color- any blue

Scent- Eucalyptus, Lavender, basil, etc.

Snack/candy- M&Ms, trail mix, icecream, almonds, pickles, anything peanut butter!

Restaurant- Chik fil A, Chicken Salad Chik, Panda Express, Diablos

Sport- Football, Football, Football- Go Daws!  Go Philly Eagles!
