Below you will see the Priority Standards for this unit. Priority Standards are standards that students must know and be able to do by the end of the school year in order to be prepared for the next grade level's standards. There will be additional standards taught that support, or enhance, the Priority Standards, but these standards will be our main focus for this unit.

Examples:

The pizza shop has 34 pizzas left. The pizza delivery driver can only take 8 boxes out for deliveries at a time. How many trips will he make before all of the pizzas are gone? Will there be any pizzas left over?

On Monday, the bakery sold 212 cupcakes. On Tuesday, they sold 6 times as many cupcakes as they did on Monday. How many cupcakes did the bakery sell in all?
