HOMEWORK

All announcements and homework can be found on Google classroom.

Homework will be assigned on Tuesdays and Thursdays,

Check the daily worksheet assignments and important notes through Google classroom..

**Make sure important assignments are turned in on time and photos of specific assignments are submitted.

READING

Reading level will be assessed soon. We will begin our #1 Reading Club in September. More information about this will go out soon. Please read out loud to someone who can correct pronunciation.

SPELLING

Spelling will begin on September 21st. Practice spelling words all week.

Bible

Bible verse will be on the class newsletter. Your child will copy it and bring it home on Tuesdays.

Practice memory verse all week.

Math

Extra practice worksheets will be assigned on Tuesday and Thursday. All homework sheets will be due each Friday

CCA Behavior System will be recorded on Class Dojo

1. Each Student begins the week with zero points.

2. The child will be rewarded points based on behavior.

3. If there is a serious behavior problem parents will be contacted.

COVID 19 Classroom Safety Rules

*Mandatory- Students must wear a mask or shield and report to pavilion area for their daily screening each morning upon arrival before reporting to class

1. Students must apply hand sanitizer each time they enter classroom and frequently throughout the day

2. Students will use their own supplies

3. Wash hands with soap for 20 seconds

4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth

5. Do not share or touch a friend’s mask

6. Cough or sneeze in your bent elbow

7. Only for snack/lunch time students may remove mask carefully

8. Keep a safe distance from other students

9. Students must wear mask properly completely covering mouth and nose

10. Stay home if you are ill

*Reminder Parents: This year for safety purposes our school will be a closed campus to all parents, therefore only if you have an emergency please report to the front office.

*Please Note: Birthday, Christmas, Valentine’s and other celebrations will be done in the class with only the students and teacher. Our Cafeteria-Kitchen services will provide parents with the opportunity to purchase a cookie cake and other treats. They will be delivered directly to our class. (No outside food will be permitted)

7:45- Middle School

8:00- Elementary

8:20- Preschool

Dismissal- Curb-Smart will be utilized

2:45- Preschool

3:00- Elementary

3:30- Middle School

First grade will be so much fun!
