Welcome to the Jungle

My name is Ms. Mehret. I will be your child’s teacher this year. I have taught 4th grade at CCA for the past 13 years. I am originally from Eritrea, East Africa. I have lived in the United States for over 30 years. Teaching in general is my passion, however, teaching the Word of God is my obsession. When God found me and regenerated me (Ezekiel 36:26), He also put the love for Him and His Word in my heart. So when I’m studying and teaching the Word of God I’m in my happy place. Therefore, I look forward to being the agent of God’s love and hope to you and your child in these tumultuous times. May God continue to equip us (parents and teachers) with wisdom, patience, compassion, and all the necessary resources, as we collaborate in bringing up these precious gifts God has entrusted to us, in the nurture and discipline of the Lord.
