as a student-run grassroots organization, the Students of Color Coalition meet once a week to support, empower, celebrate, and challenge each other as a community.

we embrace the unique perspectives of students/artists of color at California College of the Arts regarding race, class, gender, ethnic, national, and creative identity, while making space for each other in ways we feel institutions inherently fail to.

we believe in engaging in all acts of both cultural and political resistance and refusing superficial models of "diversity."
