About Me

Irene Wong is a third-year undergraduate student at California College of the Arts, specializing in Animation. Originating from Hong Kong, China, Irene's artistic expression is deeply influenced by her rich cultural heritage. Her passion extends beyond the canvas to address animal welfare and social issues, which are central themes in her work. 

Through animation and sculpture, Irene explores the intricate lives of animals and their relationships with humans, weaving narratives that highlight companionship, resilience, and mutual healing. Her goal is to inspire empathy, provoke thought, and advocate for animal rights, using her art to champion a world where all beings are treated with respect and kindness. With a belief in the transformative power of art, Irene is dedicated to creating works that open hearts, change minds, and celebrate the human-animal bond.
