This report delineates the university's international thrusts, encapsulated by the principles of Competence, Collaboration, and Co-innovation (3C). Key facets include ensuring institutional competence to engage in international partnerships, fostering collaborative endeavors anchored in mutual benefit, and promoting co-innovation through curricular development and challenging conventional approaches.

Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) has identified the cultivation of robust international relationships as integral to its overarching objectives. This report elucidates the university's strategic approach to fostering sustained international linkages and consortia, underscoring its commitment to excellence in its services as a university.

The university's international thrusts are encapsulated by the principles of Competence, Collaboration, and Co-innovation (3C).

1. Competence: CBSUA ensures institutional readiness for international partnerships by diligently managing financial and human resources. Quality assurance mechanisms, including local and international assessments, standards, and accreditations, are employed to safeguard the delivery of high-quality services.

2. Collaboration: International programs are founded upon principles of mutual benefit and shared responsibilities. Clear delineation of duties and responsibilities is established through formal Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), ensuring accountability and alignment of objectives across all partnership activities.

3. Co-innovation: The university fosters an environment conducive to curricular development and innovation, challenging conventional paradigms and fostering the exploration of novel approaches to agricultural research and education.

The International Relations Office (IRO) at CBSUA-Calabanga serves as the focal point for coordinating collaboration initiatives emanating from the Calabanga Campus. Working in tandem with key stakeholders including the Director of the IRO, Campus Administrator, Planning Officer, Deans, and Chairs, the IRO ensures the seamless execution of international linkages and consortia.

CBSUA rethinks its internationalization in the advent of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Instead of the typical exchange of human resources and face-to-face interactions with its international partners, it explores the internationalization at home by opening its campus to international partners while staying safe at home.
