It’s easier to reduce your footprint if you know what’s contributing to it! Start with a draft footprint in pre-production on the albert calculator. This will give you a breakdown of the production's impacts and allow you to be strategic in how to reduce them.

albert has been helping the production industry to measure its impact since 2011 with the launch of the first version of its carbon calculator. The international version of albert launched in January 2021.
In 2020, albert calculated that 1 hour of television contributes 4.4 tCO2e/hr, a 52% reduction from 2019. This is based on a total of 1,855 UK-based footprints calculated in 2020-21.
