- I find this to be one of the most useful free apps I have found. We have not upgraded ours to the paid version. Popplet Lite (the free version) allows you to type, draw, and import pictures into the popples. It also allows you to save your popple as a jpeg straight into the Camera Roll on iPad. That means students can easily turn in popplets they created using Edmodo. Popplet has been extremely valuable to all of the classrooms I have introduced it to at my school.

- The possible applications of this tool are endless. It is very user-friendly, and the collaborative capability adds a fabulous dimension to brainstorming and mind-mapping.

- Although Popplet is not a tool that helps teach content, it is a fabulous tool to help students use their creativity to visually share their learning and create multi-media organizers. Popplet can be used cross-curricular, which I believe is always a bonus to have a versatile web-based tool in one’s toolbox!
