As you might imagine, in these changing times, the demand for our services is at an all time high and we simply couldn’t help our clients without the contribution of our wonderful volunteers.

Volunteering with us starts with “basic training” which takes roughly 2 weeks. This is a blend of on-line learning and virtual classroom work with our Learning Lead.

Once you’ve done this, your first role is in our “Advice Hubs” where you’ll be supporting clients to self-help. 

You can volunteer as much or as little as you’re able. As we open more and more HUB locations, there is more choice. or, if you're not sure about face to face work, you could help clients on our exciting new "virtual hub". 

Once you’re confident with in HUBS, we offer more training, and you begin to give more in depth advice, whether on the phone, by email, by video chat or face to face. That choice is yours!

You’ll also get the opportunity to volunteer in some of our wider work - perhaps taking a lonely person out for a walk, helping an older person get online, or helping a struggling family save money on their energy bills.
