Helpful Videos from the VOTE411 Resources Toolkit
Am I a CoCo or a LoCo? What's the difference?
County Coordinators (CoCos) are the main points of contact working on VOTE411 for that county. Local Coordinators (LoCos) are the team mates who help the CoCo get the work done. There are some counties without LoCos -- it all depends on the CoCo and how they want to divide up the tasks and organize their team. In the Directory of Staff & Volunteers, CoCos are listed next to the county name while LoCos are itemized below that.
I just watched the full 90-minute training video on VOTE411 that LWVUS has posted. Am I responsible for all of those tasks?
The LWVUS VOTE411 training videos are designed for Leagues who do not have a centralized state project manager, like we do. As a California VOTE411 volunteer, much of the set up for districts, races, candidates, and measures will be done by LWVCEF staff and/or the Liaisons. You will be trained by LWVCEF staff in regards to what your responsibilities are, and our specific process and policies for doing it.
I noticed that my guide does not list all of the Congressional or State Assembly districts that reside in my county. Where are the missing districts?
There are many Congressional and State Assembly & Senate Districts that reside in multiple counties. Your county may not be the lead for that particular district, so you will not see it in your guide. To see who is the lead county for a particular district, you can look at the Congressional and State Districts Spreadsheet.
I can't log in. What do I do?
Are you trying to log in to your CA VOTE411 email account? If you are having trouble with that, email sstone@cavote411.org to have your account set up or your password reset. To log in, go to mail.google.com or search on the terms "gmail login".
If you are trying to connect to the back end (the VOTE411 login page above), an email should have been sent to your cavote411.org email address. If you cannot find that email, please contact sstone@cavote411.org.
Be sure to re-watch the videos on logging in and two-factor authentication to log in to the back end of the VOTE411.org website.
