About the Director

I've been involved in music and theater most of my life. I started acting with my dad in Fort Totten Little Theater's production of Annie in 1986, and have been obsessed ever since. My junior year of high school, I left Devils Lake, and attended school in Thief River Falls. I was able to have drama class every day! After high school, I received a bachelor of arts degree in Theater from Central College, in Pella, Iowa. I have co-directed many shows since then and worked with children and drama. I was Director of Education at Quincy Community Theater for two years, directing musicals and plays for children, and creating/implementing workshops for children. After receiving my Masters of Education in Elementary Education, I've been teaching ever since. Now that my children are older, I can now DIVE back into my love of the theater.
