Do you have outstanding students who are looking for a business-inspired summer camp? Check out Oklahoma Business Week and help us find awesome campers!
We are trying to promote a summer camp we host on the campus of East Central University for any high school students! If you could please share this information with high school students and teachers to spread the word! I have attached our flyer to this email!
OBW is a one-of-a-kind summer program occurring May 31st – June 4th, 2026, that offers students in high school first-hand experience in the world of business. You become part of a "company" and work together in various events and competitions. You will also have the opportunity to interact and learn from community business leaders. You will gain skills in leadership, communication, team building, responsibility, money management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and much more. At Oklahoma Business Week, you will learn that the business world can be serious stuff, but it can also be fun.
At our camp, students can combine the summer fun they crave with real-world business experience. Plus, they will take a test run of college life, meet new friends, strengthen their leadership skills, explore their career options, and get the chance to win a scholarship or a laptop computer. All in just one week! Watch this video to learn more!
The cost for this award-winning camp starts at only $200 per participant. This includes their housing and all meals for the entire week. Although Oklahoma Business Week is valued at about $800 per student, due to our generous supporters, we are able to cover most expenses, which cuts the cost for the students tremendously.
We only have slots for 60 student participants, so don’t delay in encouraging potential participants to apply.
You can apply for OBW by clicking this link: Oklahoma Business Week Application 2026
The final deadline for registration is May 1st, 2026.
Please remember that we also offer merit and need-based scholarships to help offset the cost of registration. Anyone who completes the student questionnaire and student evaluation is automatically considered! We do not let anyone's financial situation hinder their ability to experience this amazing camp!
For more information, a link to the video, printable flyers to promote OBW (please post flyer on school websites and/or bulletin boards if possible!), or for an application, visit www.okbusweek.com.
