Each year students in the CCA Criminal Justice are recognized for their accomplishments. As students progress through the two year program, they are recognized based off of five levels of accomplishments. Each level has criteria that must be met. Each level of recognition has a different CCA Criminal Justice program medallion.
CCA Criminal Justice Medallion criteria
At awards day, parents and community leaders are invited to the program to honor students for academic achievements. Juniors who successfully complete four classes with a C grade or above are awarded a GNTC graduation cord for the Intro to Criminal Justice Certificate (IT51). Seniors that successfully complete their classes with a C grade or above are awarded a GNTC graduation cord for the Criminal Justice Specialist Certificate (CJ21). In addition to GNTC cords, Seniors can be awarded graduation cords for CCA Senior, Professional Development. Georgia Basic Jailer's Mandate Course, and Georgia Basic Communications Officer Training coure.
