Tracy and Bill Tomiak have been married for 35 years, have five adult children, four sons-in-laws and five grandchildren. Bill is the Executive Director of Clear Water Academy and has a business background in conflict resolution and building strong teams. Tracy is a Counselling Therapist in Calgary who has a passion for building communication and conflict resolution skills in couples and families. They love spending time with their family, seeing God’s beauty in the outdoors and finding quiet time in their kayaks.

Daniel & Maria Nugent
Daniel and Maria have been married 25 yrs and have been blessed to have 5 kids at home, aging from 8 to 23yrs old. Daniel worked as an engineer in Calgary’s oil & gas industry for 20yrs, but has recently switched to running a Catholic Apparel & Gift store, Hearts on Fire Store. Maria homeschools the younger kids, as well as working part time as a Catholic Life Coach, as trained through Metanoia Catholic.
In their free time, they have had the gift of formally studying St JPII’s Theology of the Body through the Theology of the Body Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Over 10 years, Daniel has completed the TOB Institute’s course requirement for Certification, with 11 courses, and is in the process of finishing the remaining practicum portion. The course instructors included Christopher West, Janet Smith, Peter Kreeft and others.
They are both very passionate and enthusiastic to share the freeing vision that St JPII’s Theology of the Body offers to each of us. They frequently do speaking arrangements for a variety of audiences including marriage preparation classes, young adult retreats, teachers PD day, Jr/Sr high school groups, parish study groups and others. These interactive discussions appropriately include YouTube clips, popular songs, and current news to highlight the universal nature and applicability the TOB has to each of our daily lives.
Sara and Guillermo Garcia
Sara and Guillermo Garcia
Guillermo and Sara Garcia have been married almost 9 years and have been blessed with two daughters. They have been teaching financial literacy to engaged couples for the diocese of Calgary since 2018. Both strongly believe there is great freedom in understand how to manage your family’s finance, and that learning to be good stewards of your financial blessings is key to a successful and happy marriage. They are currently parishioners at Ascension Catholic Parish.
