We hope you enjoyed the wonderful festive community dinner! Over 120 people gathered on Friday Nov. 28 with warm smiles and delicious food to ring in the holiday season. From mashed potatoes, to roasted veggies and stuffing, to salads, and smoked turkey, the main meal met its match in a mouthwatering assortment of deserts! Flan, cheesecake, loafs, cookies, GF squares and pumpkin bites - all attendees indulged their sweet tooth in a generous assortment of treats. In addition to an amazing feast, there was a photobooth for family pictures, music, and an art table this year.
This friendly evening could not be possible without all the volunteers! This year, an enthusiastic contingent of middle school students helped alongside staff, parents and grandparents in the kitchen and in preparing the gym. It took lots of planning, many hours, and heaps of carrots, potatoes and baking talent to make the magic happen.
At the end of the evening, volunteers made sure the gym looked spik and span, and that the leftovers made their way to the Sandy Merriman House, to be enjoyed by the people seeking shelter there.
Warm holiday wishes and a happy new year from the PSG Committee 2025.
