As stated on page 10 of the CCS Student Handbook:
In the case of late projects, the student’s grade is dropped one (1) letter grade per/day until the project is turned in. Upon the 5th day, a zero may be given.
The assignment of zeros for homework is at the teacher’s discretion. A ½ credit for (1) day late or other options are at the discretion of the teacher. Because homework should not represent more than 20% of a student’s overall grade, a zero should not be the cause for failure.
*Late work will be graded late, so please do not repeatedly ask for missing assignments to be updated in FACTS if you did not take the time to turn it in on time.
As stated on page 10 of the CCS Student Handbook:
In the case of make-up tests, the student will have two (2) dates for making up a test. If the student does not make up the test on one of the optional test dates, a zero may be given.
Students are not allowed to make up tests during class/elective time.
Make-up testing will be held at 3:30 on Tuesdays (in Mrs. Inzerella's classroom) and on Thursdays (in Mrs. Dauterive's classroom).
Cheating, copying, and/or plagiarism of any form will result in the following consequences:
1) failure of the assignment 2) a disciplinary referral 3) parental contact
Plagiarism, copying the thoughts, ideas, words, or other intellectual property of another, is a serious situation, and it will NOT be tolerated under any circumstance.

Most often, you will be given class time to work on homework assignments; however, if you do not use your time wisely, you will be expected to complete the assignment(s) at home.
Weekly homework grades will be entered into FACTS.
Scholars are also expected to spend time outside of class reading P(AR) and required novels as well as studying for assessments.
When absent, it is your responsibility to find out you have missed:
......Check Google Classroom. Email me. Text a reliable classmate.....
Upon your return, you will be allowed one day per excused absence to complete your missing work; otherwise, you will earn a zero.
Be prepared to take a scheduled test or quiz upon your return. You are not guaranteed extra days to study.
