Summer Opportunities

UNCC Future Teachers of NC summer program

High school juniors and seniors interested in education are invited to a free (grant-funded) immersive two-day virtual event hosted by the UNC Charlotte Cato College of Education. Participants can learn what it's like to be a teacher, discover paths to the classroom through UNC Charlotte’s nationally-ranked programs, and meet and talk with current UNC Charlotte students and faculty.

Davidson College Workshops

Join the Davidson College Admission Staff this summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays (July 11 - August 3) for a workshop series designed to help prepare you for the college search and application process.  Sessions will cover topics including building your college list, admission & financial aid basics, college essay writing, and more.  All workshops are FREE to attend and conducted virtually. UNC-Charlotte Summer Workshops

UNC-Charlotte's Niner Academy is an exciting series of specialty summer camps for high school students who want to shape what's next with college and career.

These one-week academies will take campers on an accelerated, hands-on learning experience on a single subject area. They will learn through collaborative exercises, group discussions, and presentations. No exams but plenty of eureka moments!
