Hello. I am Lori Sweet. This is my 12th year teaching here at Mill Creek. My background before teaching was in the textile and furniture industries as a Human Resources Manager and Director. I am a graduate of Fred T. Foard High School and Lenoir Rhyne College. I attended Appalachian State University and earned licensures in Business, Marketing and Family and Consumer Science. I am in the CTE (Career and Technical Education) department and teach both 7th and 8th students, Exploring Personal Characteristics and Careers and Exploring Business Entrepreneurship and Careers. With my business background, I feel the knowledge that I bring to the classroom is real and relevant in today’s workplace.
