Supply List 

Required Materials for 7th/8th Grade Band Students

All students will need to bring their instrument, method book, and sheet music (all labeled with their name) to school daily. Students will need those items each day of band class throughout the year. All students will be required to have a BLACK 1"-1 ½” binder with pockets for their music and book. Students are also required to purchase a band shirt that will be worn at all concerts along with khaki pants and black shoes (t-shirt information will be sent home on the first day of school). Band hoodies will also be for sale but they are optional.

Beginning 7th Grade Band

Flute:

• Recommended Brand of flutes- Yamaha, Gemeinhardt, Armstrong, Pearl, Jupiter

• To clean the instrument: Flute Silk Swab and Cleaning Cloth

Clarinet: 

• Recommended Brand of Clarinet- Yamaha, Vito, Selmer, LaBlanc, Buffet, Jupiter 

• mouthpiece either a Clark Fobes Debut or Yamaha 4C

• Recommended to protect reeds D’Addario Reed Guard 

• Reeds: 1 Box of size 2 1/2 size reeds: Vandoren or Rico Royal

• To clean/swab the instrument- Silk swab and cork grease

Saxophone:

• For Saxophones and Clarinets: 1 Box of size 3 Reeds (Vandoren, Rico Royals)
