NAHS

National Art Honor Society is made up of a subset of our students who must meet the following requirements:

Enrolled in an art class each year at MHS they are a member
Maintain an "A" in all art classes
Maintain at least a "B" in all other classes, including AP
Attend monthly meetings
Complete at least 10 hours of community service, 5 of which must be art related

Community Service Hours are a big part of the club's activities. Here you will find just some of our contributions to the school and the community.

Students have been painting windows in the school to create school spirit, Christmas Cheer and more.

Fire Hydrant Project

Fire Hydrant Project:

Art students and National Art Honors Society members partnered with Keep Catawba County Beautiful and the Maiden Fire Department to paint the fire hydrants on Main Street in Maiden. There have been two rounds of this project completed since we began in 2019.
