Why a librarian?
What drew me to being a librarian, is that the library is a place of choices. You get to choose what you want to learn, which book you want to read, which topics to explore... I like that I get to help students figure out the books they enjoy and that some students think I've somehow read every book in the collection. The best part is when a student tells me they love coming to the library.
