Playing Guidelines

Welcome to Castle Hill Badminton!

These guidelines are designed to ensure fair play, safety, and an enjoyable experience for all members and visitors.

Session Entry

• Please arrive before the scheduled start to check in.

• Wear non-marking shoes and appropriate badminton attire.

• If you are a new player, introduce yourself to the Duty Officer before starting.

Court Rotation

• Baddy app is necessary for you to participate in the session.

• We use a fair rotation system (PEG queue) to manage games.

• Respect the rotation and allow all players to participate.

On-Court Conduct

• Share courts and rotate promptly between games.

• Support sportsmanship — positive encouragement is encouraged.

• Avoid aggressive behaviour, intimidation, or unsporting actions.

Safety and Courtesy

• No food or drink on courts.

• Children must be supervised at all times.

• Assist with packing up equipment at the end of sessions.

• Report any hazards or incidents to a committee member immediately.

New Player Tips

• Beginners are welcome — ask for help if unsure about the rules or rotation system.

• Observe others and follow the posted guidelines.

• Don’t hesitate to contact the committee if you have questions.

Participation is subject to compliance with Club policies and standards of conduct.
The committee reserves the right to take appropriate action where behaviour is inconsistent with these guidelines.
