THE CASSIE MARINO FOUNDATION

This foundation is in memory of our beloved daughter, Cassie.  She touched many lives and we feel it is our duty to continue her journey.  She passed away tragically at age 19 after completing the first semester of her sophomore year of college at Western Michigan University.

The Foundation's primary mission is to provide college scholarships to students towards their journey to attend a four year university.  That was the same dream Cassie was in the process of achieving at the time of her untimely passing.  Cassie loved college life and was succeeding academically and socially.

Cassie was also very fond of her dog, Doug.  A secondary mission of The Foundation will be to raise and distribute funds to dog rescue groups.

We have no doubt that she would approve of the mission and direction of the foundation in her name.  Funding for the Foundation has come from her family, community, and beyond.  The Foundation has zero operating expenses.  All operative costs are personally funded by Cassie’s family in her honor so 100% of proceeds are applied to the Foundation’s missions.

We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation registered in Illinois.  The Foundation has a zero expense policy.  All monies donated and raised will be used to fund our missions.  We believe our missions will keep Cassie's one-of-a-kind spirit alive.

UPDATE: We have awarded over $75,000 in scholarships.  So far.  Cassie's journey is continuing.  We also donate to local dog rescue groups.
