Since August 2024, I have served as Python Coordinator with Girls Who Code in Cleveland, where I lead a team of 16 undergraduate students in delivering coding curriculum to middle and high school girls. In this role, I teach weekly Python classes during the fall and spring semesters, develop lesson plans, design projects, and host office hours to support student learning. My goal is to create an engaging, supportive environment that builds confidence and inspires young girls to explore opportunities in technology.
In August 2025, I co-founded Next Play, a student organization at Case Western Reserve University that supports former athletes in their transition beyond competitive sports. As co-president, I help lead initiatives focused on community engagement, co-ed sports, and mental health advocacy. I also organize partnerships with professional sports teams, youth coaching programs, and local leagues to create meaningful opportunities for our members, while managing club operations, programming, and strategic planning to ensure lasting impact.
Since January 2025, I have been a member of Theta Tau, a professional engineering fraternity where I collaborate with peers across engineering disciplines to strengthen technical, professional, and leadership skills. Through participation in workshops, networking events, and community service initiatives, I contribute to projects and events that promote teamwork, mentorship, and the advancement of the engineering community. I spearheaded the initiative to create our chapter's first date party networking event.
Since joining Alpha Chi Omega at Case Western Reserve University, I have been an active member of a community that values leadership, service, and personal growth. Through involvement in philanthropy events, sisterhood activities, and campus initiatives, I’ve built meaningful connections while contributing to causes that support women and promote awareness around domestic violence. Being part of Alpha Chi Omega has given me opportunities to grow as a leader, collaborate with others, and engage in service that makes a positive impact on both campus and the broader community.
As a volunteer youth sports coach with the Cleveland Heights community, I lead and mentor children across multiple sports, including flag football, basketball, soccer, softball, and baseball. In this role, I focus on building fundamental skills, fostering teamwork, and creating a positive and inclusive environment that helps young athletes grow both on and off the field. Coaching has allowed me to give back to the community while developing my own leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
From August 2024 to March 2025, I was a first-year guard on the Case Western Reserve University Women’s Varsity Basketball Team. During this time, I successfully balanced the demands of competing at the collegiate level with my academic responsibilities, demonstrating discipline, time management, and resilience. Beyond athletics, I also volunteered in the Cleveland community to support fundraising efforts for our program, further strengthening my connection to both the team and the local community.
Beginning in September 2025, I assisted in the process of starting Case Western's first women's club basketball team. During this time, I've learned how to manage funds, create budgets, and work with a group in order to create a club sport.
