Departmental Seminar
Introduction
There are many different seminars on campus that will allow students pursuing research to engage in their fields of interest. Departmental Seminars invite speakers that work in their respective fields to talk about upcoming research and developments in their field and provide students the opportunity to ask questions directly to learn more about the department.
RSP Requirements
For this academic year, we have introduced the requirement to attend a Departmental Seminar for both the Rising Scholars track and Research Scholars track. Please fill out the form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdcDgJTpVv5I27dlykEhTx0MxxQeb9Anu-81ccYPuLriFc0ig/viewform.
You can find seminars in almost all CWRU departments, including at the School of Medicine, Law School, and the Mandel School. Most department websites have a "seminars" tab or a calendar with upcoming seminars. There are seminars weekly for many departments; all seminars are eligible for the fulfillment of this requirement.
